Welcome To The New Site
We are really excited about our newly designed website and our new CD. We are going to use this blog to keep in touch with you.
Connie is almost done with her Christmas shopping, her tree us up and decorated (oh, to be so on top of things). I think she has connections with the elves. She’s looking forward to going to North Dakota for Christmas.
Cheryl hasn’t started her Christmas shopping and may not until the 24th. She says she works best under pressure. She’s planning a jaunt to Conneticut for Christmas.
I am about half-way done with my shopping, but I have a plan and a list. I will be with my family and my new dog, Dolce, here in Michigan this Christmas.
We wish all of you wonderful holidays however you spend them. Remember, it’s better to count your blessings not your
calories this time of year!
Cheers!
Grace
Hi! The other Linda,my buddy, just pulled up your new website for me…….WOW that is relly neat! (How’s that for sounding my age!)
The interviews were so enlightening I laughed and nodded my head at lots of your comments. Linda and I think your symphony concert sounds like a reason for a “road trip”, we’ll be watching the tour schedule and saving our dollars!
I’m really enjoying the new CD and sharing your music with new folks. Keep singing those great harmonies,I’ll be listening….The other Iowa cousin,Linda
Happy Holidays, to the Linda’s and our Iowa cousins!!!We are new to this blogging thing, but were thrilled for you guys to be our first commenter’s! Sorry I accidentally deleted Linda Morrison’s comment. Happy happy, Merry, merry!
Love,
The Girls
We were hoping to see you at “the Ark” on New Years Eve, but procrastinated and didn’t get tickets! (Story of my life!) But I’m sure we’ll catch you later.
Love your new sight, love your harmonies! I’m listening to “In the Christmas Spirit” right now, and I am definitely getting in the spirit.
Have a wonderful holiday!
Diane
Hi Diane and any other folks who might want to come on New Year’s Eve,
There are still tickets!! you can call 734-763-TKTS or go to the Ark at night and buy them there. I think Herb David’s has them, too.
We are looking forward to the show.
Hope your holidays are terrific.
Grace
Happy Holidays, everyone! I love the new website!!! I really need a Chenille Sisters fix — will you PLEASE come to Iowa sometime in 2007? I’ll road trip anywhere within 4 hours of Des Moines, and I have several friends willing to do the same. Any plans for a Chenille Sisters Cruise Part II? It’s been 4 years — I think it’s time for another getaway to a sunny destination with some wonderful music!!! Grace, Cheryl & Connie — I wish the three of you nothing but the best in 2007 and beyond — you’re the greatest!!! Keep the beautiful (and hilarious) music coming!
Happy New Year to you all!
I can’t tell you how much I have enjoyed the last two concerts I heard at the Frauenthal Center in Muskegon. I so enjoyed all your songs, but I was particularly touched by, “May I Suggest,” and have just ordered two of your newest CDs. In looking over your schedule, I only see your New Year’s Eve booking at The Ark. I guess I am way too late for tickets!
Are you publishing a schedule for 2007 yet? Do you know if you will be in the West Michigan area at all?
I have also just sent a message to Ellen DeGeneres as your link suggests. Nothing would give all your fans more pleasure than hearing you guys perform on her show!
Happy New Year and May God richly bless you all this year.
Kathy
Hi, Kathy!
Glad you got the new CD! We will have our tour schedule for 2007 up very soon. We’re off to a slow start. Nothing in west Michigan on our books at the moment, but will post all of it soon and will keep updating.
Thanks for sending a message to Ellen DeGeneres. Wouldn’t it be fun if this worked and we got to be on the show?
Thanks for your good wishes. Our best go to you!
Grace
Hey Barry,
Great to hear from you and thanks for the hilarious Christmas card and photo from the cruise.
No plans for another cruise at this time. Also nothing on the books for Iowa, but we would LOVE to come.
Dates always fill in for us through the year, so keep checking. We’d love to see you again!
Happy New Year!
Grace
A big HELLO!!! to our three friends from Mark and Frank in Madison. We are in need of a Chenille fix and a cruise would be perfect. The Eau Claire show was alot of fun but so long ago. We are looking forward to seeing a show in the near future in Wisconsin or Illinois. Can’t wait to here the new CD, also i like the new web site.
Love you all, Mark and Frank
Hi, Chenilles!
I finally received my new CD today, and it sounds great — it’s been a long time coming, but worth the wait! Now if I could just find a live show within 250 miles! I wanted to let you know I also recently contacted Ellen’s website to put in a plug for you — I really hope everyone else will do so, too; she has to listen to us, doesn’t she? I also contacted the Hoyt-Sherman Theater here in Des Moines and suggested that they book you sometime soon. Anyway, I hope everyone is having a great start to the new year.
Lots of love from Iowa,
Barry Lowe
PS – Connie, I love the new hair style!
Hey Barry,
We would abolutely love to come to Des Moines. Hope something works out. Our schedule is not fleshed out for 2007. As soon as we know, we will post our dates.
Glad you like the new CD and Connie’s new “do.”
Thanks also letting Ellen DeG. know we’d love to be on her show.
Hope we’ll see you in 2007 so we can get a “Barry hit”.
Grace
Do I have to be a member to post to this blog?

Hello! Good Site! Thanks you! ykvjuxrhlonlkp

I am a recent Chenille Sisters fan….I just downloaded “Lo, How A Rose E’er Blooming” because it is such a pure rendition of the song…just exactly what I wanted…my Mom turns 90 this coming weekend and I thought it would be great to have all of the women sing this to her…my son, a musician in New Orleans, with accompany on guitar. We hope that you will be coming back to the Northeast sometime in 2008. The entire Robertson clan would love to see you in concert.
Hi Ladies,
Just wondering what your schedule is for November/December 2007? Please respond soon as my mom and uncle will be here for the holidays and I’d like to bring them to a show. I took my mom to see you 25 years ago and she’s been talking about it ever since!
