We made it through February!
Hi Everybody,
We had a lovely weekend trip to Bloomington, IL. The weather was horrible, but we managed to drive in between fronts and right before and after the stormy parts. We love our trips in The Chenillemobile.
We did a private party, and had a good time. We ate some fabulous scallops and crab cakes at the Chateau Hotel. Who knew you don’t have to be on the coast to get great seafood?
I am reading “The Secret”, an amazing book about the law of attraction. It’s been featured on “Oprah” a couple of times and there is a DVD which I haven’t seen yet. It’s empowering, positive, and wondrous. I highly recommend it. Even if you don’t love Oprah. But I do.
I have got to figure out how to upload a photo onto this blog. I want to post a picture of Dolce, The Wonder Dog. I am LOVING having a dog. She is a great companion, she’s got me out walking and noticing all kinds of beauty–even on crummy weather days. Pink morning skies, sunlight shining through icicles, bright red cardinals against blinding white snow, big puffy flakes falling all around that give the feeling of walking in a snow globe. If I am this wild about the winter beauty, I can’t wait until things start blooming!
I bring you all warm greetings from Cheryl and Connie. They haven’t gotten their blog-groove on, but they will!
Till next time,
Grace
We just returned to the area and can’t wait to catch your act again! Only now we have 3 little ones to bring along.
Please put us on your email list if you have one.
Thanks,
Kevin and Donna
So you have a blog too, eh. Cool, isn’t it?
Hea, I just bought my first Chenille Sisters record–vinyl which was being sold at a Saline Library used book sale. I only paid 50 cents for it. Don’t think you’ll get any royalties from it, but it’s a nice collection. I love three-part harmony.
Kevin,
Glad you’re back! We LOVE this area ,too! Hope you can bring your little ones to a kids show soon!
Love,
The Chenilles
Hey, Kevin,
We didn’t know there were ANY vinyl versions of our music still on sale out there. Hope you got 50 cents worth of pleasure from it! We are around the Ann Arbor-Saline area a lot. Hope we’ll meet sometime. Thanks for writing!
Love,
The Chenilles
Hey, isn’t it about time for your annual “Milwaukee-Fond du Lac-sort of around that area” performance?? I’ve got several Chenille Virgins that I need to introduce to your music and to you! I’ll bring the chocolate! I’ll even bring my Chenille scarf (autographed by you three) so I can “cruise” along!! Christina says hello too. The kids are big now—Bridget is 10 and Jake turns 8 on March 30. Hope to see you SOON!
Love ‘ya!
April
