Hi there Ladies of the HIGH HARMONIES!!!(and I mean the superior kind of high) Good to see you are out here blogging, I’m a newbie at the whole thing so you have me worried on the Twitter thing, that is unknown territory for me. This is the original IOWA Linda, not my friend Linda Miller. She is well tho, we just did a road trip to Janesville this weekend and were remembering all your gigs we caught in and around that area. Fun times!!!!!! I was with my friend Pat last week and her cell phone rang in with your “Crazy People” rendition. Quite amusing. Sorry to say 2008 was the first year since I first discovered you on PBS that I did not get to see you in person….bummer. I hope 2009 starts a new run. There is a beautiful performance center in a town just north of us a few miles that would be a great venue for you. I’ve been to a few things there and think about how to get you there each time. It’s the Ohnward Fine Arts Center in Maquoketa. I’ve got to work at getting your name to them!!!!!! I’d love to hear the new stuff you’ve been working on. We’ll be watching for an opportunity for a “road trip”…. ….Keep those harmonies tight and find some joy each day…………
